Interpretative center in San Simon is a new-style museum, dedicated to visitors for knowledge dissemination of cultural heritage in Izola. The restored 25-ton boat is a former fishing boat named “Biser” (Pearl). The park area is also equipped with a small stage made of wooden beams for cultural event purposes. Sandy path leading through the park is surrounded by the parametric designed, green embankments in sea and wave shape pattern. The center is also located in the archaeological area, which is connected with a designed thematic journey along the coast through Izola old town center with the Parenzana museum. The museum completes the overall presentation of the rich cultural heritage of Izola fishing industry.
